May 3, 2012

It's been a while since my last blog... I realize.

We've been a bit busy here in Kona... swimming with all of our underwater friends. The family is well, Scout has become quite a hit with the dolphins. He swims with them every chance he gets. Torpedo Tours Facebook page has some nice photos. This year so far we've swam with a whale shark, hammerheads, tiger sharks, countless dolphins, manta rays and a couple of curious Humpback whales.
All in all, a great start to 2012!

The boat is freshly painted and upgrades done during a recent haul out a few weeks ago. Fishing season is just getting underway as the summer draws nearer. The Ono's are here! Yum! Good time of tear for eating some of the best fish of your life. These fish are easy to catch during dive trips too, because they stay in near shore waters, where we are in route to our favorite dive sites. You could leave your dive trip with a fresh fillet of arguably the best fish in Hawaii. ("Ono" is Hawaiian for "delicious")

I will try to keep you posted on the best underwater finds we've been seeing lately....if you're reading this then you're probably a bit familiar with my track record...

Feel free to write me through TorpedoTours.com and bug me for updates anytime!

Aloha,

Nikki Milligan
